New Station-Only Text Fields for Piece Pages

We're excited to announce a couple of new features that have just been added to all piece pages on PRX.

  1. Subtitle field: only visible to station staff, won't show up in the PMP.

Example of what you would put in this field: Newshole version; Air Window opens 10/1; 59 Minute Version; Director’s Cut

  2. Station info field: only visible to station staff, won't show up in the PMP.

Example of what you would put in this field: Please contact me with carriage information; Head to our website for digital assets.

Now, you can add specific information to your pieces that only station staff will see when they are logged in to PRX.org.

This does two things:

  1. Makes it so that you can provide information specific to stations and ONLY stations (no listeners) will see that info when they’re logged in.

  2. Improves the information that gets provided to the PMP (Public Media Platform). These new station fields will be excluded from the PMP and therefore this station info won’t end up in a feature when a station pulls in a piece via the PMP.

These fields are optional, so if you don't have any station-specific info, feel free to leave these blank.
