What is changing, and why? 

PRX has expanded beyond the role of distributor. To better reflect our growing role in the public media ecosystem, we are updating our online presence in a few ways:

Your logo looks different.

Thanks for noticing. The new logo better reflects the role of PRX, and you will start to see it on all our pages and products. A style guide will be available in the immediate future for you to use.

How do I log in?

We have provided multiple ways for you to log in to the PRX Exchange:

  • The easiest way is to visit directly.
  • If you’re already logged in and you head to you’ll see a message asking you to head to Bookmark the new address and visit it for all broadcast distribution services.
    You can log in via by clicking the user icon on the upper righthand corner and clicking on Sign In. Please note that you’ll need to enter your email address as your username if you try to log in via Going forward we ask that you head to and bookmark the new address.

Is there a direct link I can use to access PRX Exchange?

Does this change the way I encode/upload my episodes?

No, the process of encoding and uploading your content to PRX Exchange does not change. Once you log in, however, you will see that the design of the site has been updated.

Will this interfere with licensing and subscribing to pieces and series for my station?

No! If you’re a member of your station account on PRX Exchange you’ll be able to license content on the site and subscribe to series.

Don’t see a Buy or Subscribe button? Make sure you’re logged in under your station account: Log in>My PRX> Choose Account>Select your station account.

Will this interfere with the delivery of my subscriptions?

Absolutely not! Deliveries for you favorite shows will not be affected by this change.

Will this affect the URLs on my site for PRX Exchange pieces or series?

No. Any existing deep links to pages on the PRX Exchange (e.g., a third  party website that is linking to will get handled correctly and redirected to the proper page on PRX Exchange. That is to say, all existing PRX Exchange pages that are indexed on Google, bookmarked, linked, etc will continue to work as expected.
