What are some examples of ad placements?

Dovetail stitches ad files in between your episode segments, so each episode will need to be segmented or include ad markers. An ad placement defines how each episode is organized, mapping out both the content segments and designated ad slots. This tells Dovetail exactly where ads can be inserted within each week's episode.

Producers can determine which ad placement(s) are right for their show. However, If you're using multiple ad placements, we ask that a main structure be designated when creating episode drafts. Constantly changing ad placements from week to week affects your impressions, thus affecting your ad revenue.
