Let’s say you’re a week out from your next episode drop date, and you realize that there is some sensitive content on your next episode that just wouldn’t feel right to have next to an advertisement. Ads have already been set up to run on your next episode, but never fear! You can change that.
If the PRX Ad Operations team manages your ads, please contact them at least two business days in advance. Ad-free episodes change the inventory for your podcast, so it is critical that you let the ad-ops team know about any changes at ad-ops@prx.org.
For a self-managed ad operations show, you have the flexibility to apply an ad-free tag to any episode at any time. However, be aware that using this tag will impact ad delivery for your podcast.
