In Dovetail Spots, sometimes you’ll be on the side of accepting a swap. Swaps that others have requested will appear under the DRAFT tab in your Spots dashboard. (If you don’t wish to accept, go here {link to Deny/cancel article}
STEP 1 - Select “Draft” from the options at the top of the Spots dashboard. You’ll see a list of outstanding requests and who made each request.
STEP 2 - Scroll down the list and select the request you’d like to accept.
NOTE: you’ll see basic details next to each request. More details can be seen when you select a request.
Once you’ve selected the request, you can review detailed information about the swap request including zone, creative length, and duration of the swap.
NOTE: If you’d like to adjust any of the terms of the swap, you can make changes here and then click Save. Once you save the changes, the updates will be shared with the requesting party and recorded as a comment.
STEP 3 - If the terms of the request work for you, click Accept.
Not only can you upload creative audio in the swap request, but you can also upload a script for the other party to read and record to upload to Spots. Please note that the cross-promo swap won’t be ready to run until both parties have uploaded the creative audio in the appropriate fields.
