How to Convert your WAV to MP2

So, you've finished crafting your broadcast program and you're ready to deliver it to stations across the public media sphere. First, you'll need to make sure you've converted your WAV masterpiece into the broadcast delivery standard codec -- MP2. (Learn more extensively about formatting for broadcast here!)

We offer a piece of software to help make this conversion an easy part of your production workflow. Download the Hindenburg PRX Encoder here before taking the steps below.

Step 1 - Open the Hindenburg PRX Encoder

Step 2 - Select (via the select files button) or drag the WAV file or files that you'd like to convert into the encoder

Step 3 - Allow files to process, the MP2 will output to the same location as the original file.

Huzzah! You now have MP2 files ready to upload into a piece or series on the Exchange.
